Trick or Treat at the Pavilion

 

 We will be having the 2nd Annual Trick or Treat at the Pavilion Oct 31st 5:30pm-7:30pm.  Spaces will be available at the pavilion and along the sidewalk.  Businesses on Conrad are also encouraged to hand out candy at their place of business. A list will be made of all those participating with name and location listed.  Currently there are 26 participants: Chamber, Mountain Top Church, The Lunch Box, Ann Williams Real Estate, State Farm Insurance, County Line, Jody Rabb CPA, Cisco Medical Clinic, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 461, Pizza Heaven Express, Alphagraphics, Subway, Integra Care, East Cisco Baptist Church, Texas Stuff, Philpott the Florist, Marcia’s Creations, Crossties Pizza Pro, Dairy Queen, Fire Dept, Barry’s BBQ, American State Bank, Cool Clear Water, Homestead Nursing & Rehab.  If you would like to join us call 442-2537.  Mark your calendars, claim your spot and stock up on candy!!  

 

 

Hunter’s Appreciation Luncheon

 

This year the Hunter’s Appreciation Celebration will be a luncheon on November 1st from 11am-1pm at the Community Pavilion. There will be prize drawings throughout the luncheon and as always great food. Judge Rex Fields will be our emcee and James Ramsay event chairman and board president has started rounding up sponsors and prizes. Current sponsors are: Tri Tex Sales, Brookshire’s, Texas Stuff, Herman Auto Parts, Thornton Feed Mill, Stan’s Tire, Linda’ Café, B&B Outdoors, Ted & Rex’s, Outdoor Specialties.   All you need is a current hunting license to get in free.  The Jr Chamber will be set up selling chances to win a giant 6’ Christmas stocking full of toys $3.00 a ticket or 10 for $25.  All proceeds go toward the Jr Chamber Community Improvement Project.

 

 

 

 

HOLIDAY MARKET

AT THE HILTON

 

Holiday Market at the Hilton will be November 22nd & 23rd.  Sat 22nd 9am-5pm Sun 23rd 11am-4pm. We have 50 venders participating this year so make sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer.  Get your Christmas shopping done early all in one location!    Contact the chamber office at 442-2537 or come by 309 Conrad Hilton Ave for more information.  Look for a sneak peek list of venders and items in the November news letter. 2008 Lighted Christmas Parade, Business Decorating Contest & Community Tree Lighting

 

This year’s theme for the December 2, 2008 Lighted Christmas Parade & Business Decorating Contest is “Toyland Christmas”.  1st,2nd & 3rd Place prizes will be awarded in the business decorating contest.  If you would like to enter please contact the office at 442-2537 or email me at ciscoinfo@ciscotx.com.  The parade will begin at 6:15pm with line up starting at 5pm and judging at 5:30pm.  1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes will be awarded in 11 categories. The Annual Community Tree Lighting will follow the parade at the pavilion.  Stay after the parade to enjoy the entertainment, hot cocoa and lighting of the tree.  Enter for a chance to win a giant 6’ Christmas stocking full of toys. $3.00 a ticket or 10 for $25.  All proceeds will go to the Jr Chamber Community Improvement Project.  Then join us at the Hilton Center to see Santa!

 

Tour of Homes

& Holiday Bake Sale

Dec 7th 1pm-5pm

 

If you would like to be on the tour of homes or would like to nominate someone please contact the office by Oct 31stEach year the chamber board of directors donate several homemade baked items for our annual fundraiser.  Every year more people attend to purchase the festive goodies for their holiday parties, gifts or to feed extra family members.  The demand has greatly out grew the board and the wonderful spouses who donate their time and talents to the bake sale.  If you would like to donate a homemade item to the chamber for the bake sale please call me. The board will still be donating items and would apprecaite the help. We will contact you after Thanksgiving as a reminder.  Thank you for your support and involvement.

 

 

WIN A 6’ CHRISTMAS STOCKING FULL OF TOYS

 

The Jr Chamber will be selling chances to win a giant Christmas stocking full of toys, games, stuffed animals and more starting Nov 1st until Dec 12th.  Tickets are $3.00 each or 10 for $25.  You can purchase your tickets here at the chamber any time during Nov 1st thru Dec 12th or at the following events. Hunter’s Appreciation Luncheon Nov 1st, Holiday Market at the Hilton Nov 22nd & 23rd, Community Tree Lighting Dec 2nd, Holiday Bake Sale Dec 7th, Chamber Open House Dec 12th. The winner will be drawn Dec 12th at 4pm.  All proceeds will toward the Jr Chamber Community Improvement Project. The Jr Chamber has picked a project and I’m currently working on permission to proceed. Once it has been confirmed I will send out a formal announcement of the project.
